On Wednesday, February 26th Alan Ó’ Ceallaigh represented the NPF on Virgin Media’s The Tonight Show. He was joined by panelists Rebecca Meehan, Michael Carrigy (FG TD), Niamh Griffin & Clare Kerrane (SF TD) to discuss the chronic shortage of services for children with special needs. Gavan Reilly hosted the show and has regularly highlighted issues in education over the years.
This opportunity to air the reality on the ground for schools and school leaders was helped by principals giving generously of their time to complete our recent survey regarding SET allocations. The NPF team put a lot of work into collating the information you provided with survey results being sent to schools and media outlets early on Monday, February 24th.
The NPF team will continue to highlight issues in education which affect our school communities.
